On 27 February 2018, Sala Bai’s new dormitories were inaugurated in the presence of the French Ambassador, the head of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in Cambodia and representatives of the Ministries of Tourism and Vocational Training and of the Siem Ream province. This last stage in the programme’s development will enable the school to house 150 students from September 2018.
With the development of the programme, 150 young people will be trained every year, enabling them to escape severe poverty. They will only be able to complete this professional training programme and transform their lives if the full cost of the year’s training (healthcare, accommodation, food, tuition, transportation, etc.) is free. In this context of rapid development, we need more support, especially sponsors.
