In early May, the students and teachers were invited by Phare, The Cambodian Circus, to a show of their most recent creation “Same Same but Different”. A show which highlighted cultural similarities and differences and ways of living of Cambodians and foreigners, a clever blend of humour and reflection on what makes us all human beings who are capable of going beyond our differences to understand each other. This was a wonderful experience for all of the students who for the first time in their lives were attending such a high-end show, mixing circus arts and theatre.
